April 9th, 2021 Alberta to Saskatchewan
We started our journey to Saskatchewan as we got multiple offers on our Ituna house and used that as an opportunity to see our Daughter (Ruth) and Kevin’s Dad prior to leaving on our trip.
As with every road trip we have ever taken we got a flat tire less then an hour from home!!! But, Kevin is an experienced spare tire changer and even with the weight of the camper he was able to get it changed. We then hit up a tire shop in Edson, AB to get the spare fixed. We camped at a road pull out the first night as it was about halfway to our next destination.
Garry and Dianne allowed us to stay in their backyard and spend an entire week with them. This was one of our goals for this year is having our kids meet and spend time with family. They got to bond with their grandparents and spend time with their older sister. We really enjoyed the time we got to spend with family in Saskatchewan. If Covid restrictions did get so crazy we would have also, spent time with Kevin’s mom and sisters, but, at this time it was not doable.
