The Beginning of our Journey

In November of 2020 my Nana, Joan Hufford passed away. This left me realizing that life is short and we need to take every moment we can with everyone that matters to us. Kevin also, felt life was too short and we then started planning the journey that we embarked on April 9th, 2021.

This has been a life long dream for us to travel with our kids and not be held down by other obligations. Since Covid has taken over the world and there is so many uncertainties, we were forced to start homeschooling in the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year which made this transition possible for us. Everything we have done to get prepared for this journey has been about timing and things lining up the way we needed them too. Sometimes I look back in shock that we have taken the steps into this adventure of our life. 

This blog will be a glimpse into our journey and the fun things that we do along the way. If you don’t know our family or if you do this will be a fun and exciting journey to follow along side with us. 

This was our first real adventure on the Oregon Coast….Unfortunately Ruth can’t come along with that being said all photos from this point will be missing one of the members of our family. The goal is to get everyone together for a full family photo soon.
