Arizona Charlie’s Boulder RV Park Review
We weren’t at Arizona Charlie’s Boulder RV Park location for very long, but there was reasons for that. In my opinion, it wasn’t the best part of town. They did have security, but it seemed like we never saw them, maybe it was the time of day, who knows. There are pros and cons to every site but this was one of the sites I wouldn’t head back to unless for some reason it was the only thing available.
We will start with the beginning of our stay, when we checked in at the front building, the lady at the desk was pretty rude and rough around the edges. We had requested a certain place since it was empty and there was shade, but she informed us it was for only if you were there one night. The entire time we were there, there was only one day that the spot we had asked about was filled. We also requested to be in a bit bigger space, as the spaces were so tight, and she refused, because someone else with a “bigger rig” could come in any moment. I don’t have much pictures of our space here but there wasn’t even room for parking in our space, we had to park on the street. The next door neighbours camper was parked so close next to us that we had less then 8 feet of space to walk through.
Of course it was super hot in Las Vegas, so we did take advantage of the pool daily. It was actually nice for us, because it was shallow, it allowed Lita to learn to swim and not be afraid. The temperature of the pool was heated, but could have been just a bit cooler, since the outside temperature was so hot, the pool didn’t really cool you off. We used the showers at the pool as the other shower house was disgusting and looked as if homeless people had used it. We had planned to do laundry that weekend, but when going to the laundry room, it was a disgusting mess and we just couldn’t make ourselves use the facility. Overall, this isn’t a location I would chose to go back too, but for what it is worth it did the trick for the few days we were in Las Vegas. We did drive around and find some other RV sites we will try next time we are there.
